After-Hours Office Cleaning in Downtown Toronto, A Real Walkthrough

Office cleaning lives or dies on consistency. This is the route we run on a 4,000 square foot downtown office, three nights a week, starting at 8pm.

Start with the surfaces people touch

Shared desks, meeting tables, door handles, elevator buttons, boardroom remotes. High-touch surfaces come first because they matter most and because they take the least time when they are done every visit instead of monthly.

Kitchenettes are the real problem area

Every office complaint we receive traces back to a kitchen: the microwave, the fridge shelf, the sink. We wipe interiors nightly, descale the kettle and coffee machine weekly, and empty organics separately so the room does not sour overnight.

  • Counters cleared, wiped and dried
  • Microwave interior and fridge door handles
  • Sink descaled, drain flushed
  • Organics, recycling and waste taken out nightly

Washrooms get restocked, not just cleaned

A clean washroom with no paper towel still reads as neglected. Restocking is part of the checklist, and we log low supplies so the office manager is not the one discovering it.

Glass and floors close the night

Interior partitions and boardroom glass are streak-checked from two angles under office lighting. Hard floors are dust-mopped then damp-mopped; carpet gets a full-width vacuum pass with an overlap so there are no tracks left in the pile.

Reporting matters as much as the clean

Each visit ends with a short log: completed tasks, supplies used, anything that needs building maintenance. It is how a commercial account stays predictable instead of turning into a monthly complaint thread.
