Move-Out Cleaning in Mississauga, How to Get Your Deposit Back

Move-out inspections follow a pattern. Property managers open the oven, run a finger along the top of a door frame, and check inside the fridge. Clean those and you pass.

The five places inspections always check

Almost every deduction we have seen comes from the same short list. Handle it and the rest of the unit rarely gets scrutinised.

  • Inside the oven, including the racks and door glass
  • Inside and behind the fridge, plus the seals
  • Inside every cabinet and drawer, corners included
  • Window tracks, sills and blinds
  • Bathroom grout, shower glass and the toilet base

Clean empty, not around furniture

A move-out clean should happen after the unit is empty. Cleaning around boxes guarantees a second visit, and inspections happen in an empty room where every mark is visible.

Walls need spot-cleaning, not painting

Scuffs from furniture and hands around switches come off with a gentle pass. We spot-clean rather than scrub, because taking the sheen off a wall reads worse to an inspector than the mark did.

Document the finish

We photograph the completed unit on request. Dated photos of a clean oven and empty cabinets end most deposit disputes before they start.
