Post-Construction Cleaning in Brampton, What Contractors Miss

A contractor sweep is not a clean. Drywall dust is fine enough to stay airborne for days and it keeps landing after the trades leave, which is why one pass never finishes the job.

Why two passes are not upselling

The first pass removes the bulk. Over the following hours, suspended dust settles onto everything you just wiped. The second pass, done after that settling, is the one that actually leaves the space clean.

Where renovation dust hides

These are the areas a rushed cleanup skips almost every time.

  • Inside cabinets, drawers and closet shelving
  • Light fixtures, ceiling fans and vent grilles
  • Window tracks, frames and screen channels
  • Radiator fins, baseboard heaters and duct openings
  • The top edges of doors and trim

Paint, adhesive and sticker residue

Overspray on glass, silicone smears, adhesive from protective film and factory stickers on new fixtures all need removal by hand with the right solvent for the surface. Missing them is the clearest sign of a rushed job.

Filters and air

Run the HVAC after a renovation and you redistribute everything. Filters get changed as part of a proper post-construction clean, and vacuums have to be genuinely HEPA-sealed or they exhaust the fine dust straight back out.
